Dear Parents/Guardians of Secondary 1 Students,
The school would like to extend a warm welcome to all Secondary 1 students and parents/guardians into the Bartley Family.
Your child/ward will receive his/her posting to Bartley Secondary School on Wednesday, 19 December 2025. He/she is not required to report physically to our school for registration.

3. Administrative Information for Students
3.1. We have prepared an information sheet for Secondary 1 students to help them prepare for the start of a new school year. Students are to read and familiarise themselves with the details.

4. Higher Mother Tongue Language & 3rd Language
4.1. For students who are eligible to offer Higher Mother Tongue Language and/or 3rd Language, the acceptance form will be sent to you via Parents Gateway (PG) from Monday, 22 December 2025. The deadline for submission is Friday, 26 December 2025.
5. Full Subject-Based Banding (FSBB) - Offering Subject At More Demanding Level
5.1. Parent/Guardian of child/ward who is eligible to take subjects at a more demanding level will receive the SBB acceptance form via Parents Gateway (PG) from Monday, 22 December 2025. The deadline for submission is Friday, 26 December 2025.

6. Art Elective Programme (AEP) & Music Elective Programme (MEP)

7. Asian Languages Information [Chinese(Special Programme) C(CSP), Malay(Special Programme) M(SP), Bahasa Indonesia (BI) or Arabic] 2026
7.1. Secondary 1 students who are eligible for and have accepted the offer to study Asian Languages will be informed of their application outcome by the school. 8 . Book and Uniform Purchase
8.1. If your child/ward receives an offer for subject(s) at a more demanding level, you are advised to purchase the books after confirming your decision.
8.2. The school offers two main options for parents/guardians to purchase books and uniform for their child/ward.

8.2. For parent/guardian who has applied for MOE Financial Assistance Scheme (FAS) for your child/ward, you are required to bring along the letter of approval for FAS and show it to the staff at the General Office before collecting his/her books and uniform. Online purchase is not applicable. For parents who would like to apply for financial assistance for their child, they may submit their application online. https://go.gov.sg/moe-efasggas

9. Appeal for school transfer
9.1. To seek transfer to Bartley Secondary School (non-medical), please click here to fill in and submit this form by Friday, 26 December 2025, 12pm.
9.2. For queries related to school transfer, please contact the school at 6288 9013 from Friday, 19 December 2025, 10 a.m. to Monday, 22 December 2025, 5pm.
9.3. For medical reasons, please contact the posted secondary school directly. The deadline to seek transfer of school based on medical reason is Monday, 22 December 2025, 12pm.
10. Class Assignment
We would like to inform you that the current class assignments visible in the system have been automatically generated as part of the initial setup process for the new academic year.
Please note that these assignments are provisional and not yet confirmed by the school. Once the class assignments are finalized, parents will receive an official PG message from the school confirming their child’s class placement. We kindly request parents to refer only to this official communication as the final confirmation.
