Claims Process
In the event of a school-related accident, all claims should be submitted to NTUC Income as soon as possible, preferably within 60 days from the date of accident.
With effect from 2022, all parents/guardians are required to submit their claims electronically via the NTUC Income Student GPA Online Portal. The portal also allows parents/guardians to check their claims status and expedites claims processing by Income Insurance Ltd.
We encourage you to submit your claims as soon as possible, preferably within 60 days from the date of accident. Please note that all claims must be submitted no later than 365 days from the date of accident.
Please note the following when submitting a claim:
Parents/guardians will need to pay for medical treatments upfront before submitting claims to Income Insurance for reimbursement.
Supporting documents required include the medical bill showing details of treatment provided and medication dispensed by the hospital or clinic, with confirmation that full payment has been made and no outstanding amount remains.
For hospitalisation or day surgery, a copy of the inpatient discharge summary, day surgery report, or attending physician's medical report is required.
Parents/guardians are advised to avoid private hospitals where possible, as the benefits under the GPA Insurance Plan may not fully cover costs incurred at these hospitals.
