To develop students' understanding of mathematical concepts, and to help them to make sense of various mathematical ideas as well as their connections and applications.

By the end of a Bartleyan's education in Bartley Secondary School, a Bartleyan will be able to:

  • Acquire mathematical concept and skills through learning experiences

  • Develop thinking, reasoning and metacognitive skills through a mathematical approach to problem solving

  • Connect ideas within mathematics and apply to support learning in the other subjects

  • Appreciate the value of using mathematics in making informed decisions in real life
